Originally created by BBC Four, queers ., gave the opportunity for new and upcoming LGBTQ+ 🏳️🌈 writers, to write a dramatic short film. Each one of the unique and individual stories, portray a different generation and in monologue form, celebrate some of the most poignant, funny, entertaining, thought provoking, tragic and riotous moments of British gay history.
Commissioned to mark the anniversary of the UK's 1967 Sexual Offences Act which decriminalised homosexual acts in private between two men over the age of twenty-one, you look through the eyes of eight storytelling observers.
It's time to celebrate LGBTG+ life and culture, see how far we have come and yet have still how far we have to go.
