Holme Valley U3A Monthly Meeting

Holme Valley u3a started in 2014 and now has nearly fifty activity groups.  Covering the villages of the Holme Valley in West Yorkshire, with most members and activities in and around Holmfirth.

What is u3a?  Retired and semi-retired people come together and learn together, not for qualifications but for the sheer joy of discovery.  Members share their skills and life experiences: the learners teach and the teachers learn, and there is no distinction between them.

All our members can attend the monthly meetings.  These are held on the second Tuesday of each month, at The Civic, Holmfirth starting at 10.00am . Meet committee members and find out more about the groups on offer.  Enjoy a cup of tea followed by an entertaining talk. Visitors are welcome to try out the monthly meetings and can join our u3a there.

Please note: Clubs and classes are cancelled from time to time for holidays and other reasons, so always worth checking in advance if the session you’re interested in is taking place.
