Monthly Conscious Movement Dance Class
Each class is a stand-alone class for adults and suitable for beginners as well as experienced dancers.
Conscious Movement Dance:
This experience is for you if you are:
– looking for an expressive practice to drop into body sensations through danc- wanting to discover or recover yourself through the joy and simplicity of conscious movement
– looking for the freedom to express movement in your body in a safe environment and with like-minded people.
You do not need to be a ‘good dancer’ to benefit from this practice. The intention of simply turning up and seeing what happens is enough.
You can expect a non-prescriptive warm up through dance to varied musical landscape.
Victoria will then guide you through progressive conscious body awareness with words followed by the invitation to free dance in the space.
Sitting quietly together will close the conscious practice and allow room for reflection.
Where? Holmfirth Civic Hall, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. HD9 3AS.
When? Sundays 10am – 11:30am

£12* per class
*each individual class is £12 – however if this doesn’t feel possible for you please contact me to arrange a fee that does feel ok for you.
